The Share Foundation - Child Trust Fund

CHILD TRUST FUNDS.  Many 18 year olds are missing out on savings because they don't know they have them.  Trust Funds were set up for everyone born between 1 September 2002 and 2 February 2011 and mature on their 18th birthdays.  However, since they started to mature on 1 September 2020, many funds have gone unclaimed.  It is likely that most people are unaware they have them and are missing out on a pot of money when they turn 18.  It's not to late to claim funds that matured years ago and young people - born prior to 3 February 2011 - should be made aware that there is a trust fund in their name for when they are 18.

Lanarkshire Carers

Carers Week, taking place from 10–16 June 2024, is a UK-wide awareness campaign seeking to increase visibility for carers with decision-makers, services, employers, communities, and businesses. This year the theme is 'Putting Carers on the Map' highlighting the invaluable contributions of carers across the UK and ensuring their voices are heard loud and clear. Together we want to help increase the visibility of the carers among politicians, employers and throughout our communities. By raising awareness we hope they will better recognise the challenges unpaid carers face and help them access the support they deserve. We are hosting a range of in-person activities across Lanarkshire for carers to take part in during Carers Week 2024. Join us to take some time out, meet other carers and access some peer support. Take a look at what we have on offer and book a place on any of the activities that interest you. It may also be the ideal opportunity for you to try something new Find out what Lanarkshire Carers is doing to support carers during Carers Week by visiting:
